RULES FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GDPR

On May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, also known as “GDPR,” entered into force. It is published in the Official Journal of the European Union under the number L 119/2016.


According to the “GDPR,” personal data is information that enables the identification of a specific natural person – i.e. you. It’s not just an address or data such as a name and a surname. On the Internet, it is possible to identify you via e.g. your e-mail address, IP address or a series of traces (e.g. cookies) that can be uniquely associated with you.

First, we inform you that we process your personal data.

Morwowa 26A, 03-019 in Warsaw, registered in CEDIG (Central Register and Information on Economic Activity) under no. 7282472221 as the owner of the website you have visited, is the Controller of your Personal Data, i.e. it is the economic entity that obtains and processes your data and is responsible for its correct and lawful use.

What kind of data concerning you do we process?
We process personal data provided exclusively by you:

  • Your name and surname;
  • Type of your legal profession;
  • The name of your law firm;
  • The city in which your law firm is located;
  • Your e-mail address and telephone number;
  • Your legal specialization;
  • The IP address of your device and the MAC address of your network card (we obtain these without your knowledge or your consent via the Internet technology you use to connect to our website).

Why do we process your data? In other words, the purposes and basis of processing.

The regulation referred to above in Article 6 defines in which cases we can process your data. In other cases, we cannot process this data for other purposes or we must obtain your consent for this. We will therefore process your data for the following purposes:

  • If we conclude a contract with you or collect information to prepare an offer or contract for you (this is allowed by the provision in Article 6(1)(b) of the above-mentioned regulation);
  • If you ask us to send you information that interests you in the form of a newsletter, text message or phone call (we carry out direct marketing activities solely related to our business, as permitted by Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);
  • To perform the tasks to which we have committed ourselves by signing a contract with you (in accordance with Article 6(1)(b));
  • For analytical and optimization purposes, e.g. to monitor traffic and ensure adequate performance of our website, to prepare statistical and analytical reports, for the purposes of scientific research and to optimize our products, optimize service processes based on the course of service processes, including complaints, etc., which is our legitimate interest (on the basis of Article 6(1)(f));
  • In order to offer you products and services directly (direct marketing), which is our legitimate interest (on the basis of Article 6(1)(f)).

Recipients of data.

We protect your personal data very carefully, but in the course of our activity, we may disclose it to the following entities:

  • Payment Service Providers – in order to make payments, we cooperate with the following payment operators: PayNow mBank, mBank SA ul. Senatorska 18 00-950 Warsaw, P.O. Box 728. 
  • Hosting company: Home.pl. home.pl S.A ul. Zbożowa 4, 70-653 Szczecin. We store the website and our databases there, and therefore your data.
  • Accountants – if you purchase our services, your data will be provided to the accounting firm Kancelaria Rachunkowości GOLDEN TAX, ul. Bolkowska 2D/41, 01-466 Warsaw. 
  • If you select the “Pay” option, the data related to your transaction, such as the date, amount and transaction ID, will be transferred to the bank: mBank S.A. ul. Senatorska 18 00-950 Warsaw, P.O. Box 728.
  • Google – we use the Google Analytics product to collect statistics, so your data will be received by Google, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043 United States. Google is Privacy Shield certified.

  • LinkedIn, Facebook – we use these social networks as login support services to support posting on LI and FB. If you do not want your data to be transferred to the owner of facebook.com, i.e. Facebook, 1 Hacker Way – Menlo Park, California, United States or the owner of LinkedIn Corporation, Legal Dept. (Privacy Policy and User Agreement), 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA, please do not log in using LinkedIn and Facebook, respectively.

Transfer of personal data to third countries or international organizations.
We transfer your personal data to companies/institutions outside the EU based on appropriate legal safeguards, which are standard contractual clauses for the protection of personal data, approved by the European Commission. Organizations registered outside the EU to which we send data are: Google, LinkedIn and Facebook. Data as above.

Data storage period.

The so-called retention period (it has nothing to do with water), i.e. the period of storage of your data by us, is conditioned by various legal provisions. One period applies to the data that we use to issue an invoice to you, and another period when we need to store it in order to ensure our legal interest as the contractor.

What are your rights?

You know it perfectly well, but we remind you: when you provide us with your data, you must be sure that it will be secure. And we took care of this and informed you about it above, but you also have certain rights. You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it;
  • rectify (amend) your data;
  • delete your data (under certain conditions and in certain situations);
  • restrict processing of your personal data;
  • object to data processing;
  • transfer data that you have provided to us on the basis of a contract or consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or another competent supervisory authority;
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.

We are obliged to inform you that: Your provision of data is:

  • as a condition for the conclusion of the contract;
  • Voluntary.

If you do not provide the data necessary to conclude the contract, we will be forced to refuse to conclude said contract due to the provisions of the Civil Code or we will not be able to make any attempt to contact you.
